[Clairify](https://blog.clairify.io/en/author/clairify) Mar 27, 2023 --- We're thrilled to share that we recently participated in a groundbreaking project that made history at the [Smart Workplace Xperience](https://www.linkedin.com/showcase/workplace-xperience/) event. The event marked the launch of the first indoor climate label (binnenklimaatlabel) given to an event location: the [Van Nelle Fabriek.](https://www.linkedin.com/company/vannellefabriekevents/) At the event, our CEO, Felix van den Horst, and COO, Wim Kamerman, spoke as partners and highlighted the crucial role of indoor air quality in healthy buildings, while also conducting real-time measurements of Indoor Air Quality at the event location. These measurements provided key data for the launch of the binnenklimaatlabel. ### The indoor climate label (binnenklimaatlabel) The [binnenklimaatlabel](https://www.binnenklimaattechniek.nl/kwaliteit/binnenklimaat-label/) is a groundbreaking standard that gives a clear indication of whether your building is healthy or not. This evaluation is based on four key components: air, light, climate, and sound. The building's health is then ensured through real-time insights coming from a series of visual inspections, sensor data, and personal feedback. This guarantees that the building or space is not only healthy but also comfortable for its occupants. ### The event location The Van Nelle Fabriek is an event location with a long-standing commitment to providing a healthy working and living environment. In fact, the location has recently installed a new air cleaning system that naturally renders 99.9% of all harmful micro-organisms such as spores, bacteria, and viruses harmless. As Vincent Penseel, General Manager of Van Nelle Factory Events, said, "As a top venue, we want to offer the very best to our guests, as well as to our own employees and the many dozens of temporary workers who work here every day on major events. A safe and natural indoor climate is an undeniable part of this".  The launch of the binnenklimaatlabel at the Van Nelle Fabriek is a milestone in the effort to promote healthy indoor environments, and we're particularly proud of our contribution to this.
